New Products:  Receiver Hitches

Wolf Trailer Company, Inc. has introduced a complete line of roll-coupling hitch inserts that mate with permanently-mounted receivers in truck aprons.  This enables trucks and trailers to be quickly and easily prepared for pulling roll-coupled trailers and those equipped with lunette rings.

Note: Weight restrictions and hitch offset limits still apply when pulling trailers equipped with lunette rings.

We are working with the Government of Nova Scotia on a pilot project involving roll-coupling trucks and pony trailers to maximize productivity.  Permits are available that address two regulatory limits currently affecting these configurations:

1) increasing the maximum weight on tridem-axle pony trailers to 24,000 kgs and quadaxle full trailers to 34,000 kgs,
2) extending the hitch offset up to 3.2 meters.
